About Me
Climate Data Scientist
Climate Scientist by Training | Software Engineer by Practice
Climate scientist and technology leader combining data engineering, geospatial analysis, and government operations. Currently serving as a Graduate Intern in the Engineering & Communication division at Malawi's Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services, working on meteorological infrastructure and data systems, while serving as Founding CTO of Ascend Spatial Labs, a geospatial intelligence startup.
I build climate data pipelines, conduct risk assessments, and translate technical findings into formats that inform decision-making. My work bridges the gap between complex climate science and actionable policy.
My long-term focus is localised climate intelligence for Southern Africa — translating climate data into quantified risk for the decisions that matter.

What I'm Currently Working On
Engineering & Communication, DCCMS
Mapping the infrastructure behind Malawi's national weather station network — from raw ingestion to decision-ready output.
Climate Data Pipelines
Automated ETL systems for processing national meteorological datasets at scale.
CMIP6 Drought Modeling
"District-level drought risk modeling under SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 scenarios using CMIP6 ensembles.
Ascend Spatial Labs
Leading technology strategy for geospatial intelligence services across the SADC region.
